I visited today. Everyone was really welcoming. Pastor Jon had a good sermon. There was a nice age range of children and families to older people.

Papago Buttes is focused on loving God and neighbor, whether next door or halfway around the world. The people there have been invaluable in supporting me through some very difficult times in my life. Highly recommend.

My wife and I both grew up in the Church of Christ. (Her in Detroit; me in southern Illinois.) We were members and attending a local Church of Christ regularly. About 15 years ago, that congregation became too party political for us. (We wanted neither right nor left, just Christian.) After deciding to look for another church, we visited several and just did not seem to find the right fit - in local Churches of Christ or other churches we visited. At that point I told my wife, "Maybe we should stop looking for the perfect church and start looking for Jesus." (in the churches we visit) Soon after, we visited Papago Buttes......and have been here ever since.
