Came with the family for family therapy. She made very hurtful and inappropriate claims. Tried to boot 2 of us out of the session and then booted me out. Just awful.

Alyssa is very compassionate, knowledgeable, professional and delightful. Her help to me and impact on my life over these many years of therapy have been invaluable. My quality of life has been exponentially increased through our therapy partnership. Being a therapist and dealing with people who are often at their worst and most desperate is a hard job. Alyssa does it unfailing with care and humor but also with boundaries that keep both patient and therapist safe.

Like the others who wrote (honest) reviews, I have found Alyssa and The Mandel Center to be a gift in my life. She always makes me feel like I am her only patient even though I know that she has a waitlist. She responds to me almost instantly and has a warm and caring personality that makes me want to work on myself. I appreciate that I get to see her.

I cannot recommend The Mandel Center highly enough. Alyssa Mandel is, quite literally, a lifesaver. She is extremely intelligent and even more importantly is kind, compassionate, empathetic, funny, honest and straightforward. She offered me practical tools and solutions I could use so that many aspects of my life and relationships could be successful and so I could reach my highest potential. She genuinely wants the best for her clients. Alyssa is nationally recognized and has an impeccable reputation in the medical and mental health fields. She came very highly recommended to my family from several doctors in LA after she received the prestigious 40 under 40 award from the Phoenix Business Journal. Arizona is so truly lucky to have Alyssa and I am and always will be incredibly grateful to her.
