It's a very good college from what I saw

Professors & atmosphere is nice. However, I have had so many issues with financial aid, stipends, and just understanding information through this college is beyond difficult. Its so frustrating.
I have a friend that goes to MCC and I should have went there.

if you're doing online school, don't do it here.
i only signed up for one class my second semester for spring 2021 only to be booted out of the class without my knowledge by the end of the first week. i was able to be reinstated (yay) but the next week i was booted again with no explanation except that i received an email saying "your seat on the waitlist expired" which i shouldn't have been on any waitlist as i was already registered to the class. after weeks of continuous efforts to contact the school because i have to pay for a class i didn't get to take out of system error, i scheduled a meeting with my advisor and she said that the waitlist email should have had a prior email letting me know i was on a waitlist in the first place but still it makes no sense to even have me on one. so afterwards she advised me who to contact and basically, the first person i contacted led to another and another and another till finally Derrick Span. He said he'd take on my case and provide further detail, i sent him the details and never heard back. When I asked for a follow up, he tells me my concern deals with so-and-so professor (which was obvious as i sent him that detail) and that was it. I sent another email asking what to do next since I didn't know what he meant and he said "my concern" has nothing to do with him and to email the woman in charge of my professors divison..
my new semester classes start in 3 days and i have been contacting endless people for over a month till this point. so now i decided to just drop these classes and write this review. oh and not to mention their books store they're jointed (barnes and noble collge books??) with for your school books rob you of your money. i sent back my book since i was told the book i needed was free for the current semester and i never got a refund even though i sent emails (since that is the way of contact) complete waste of time AND money.
update: the book store refunds in store credit so now i have $100+ waiting to be used, i guess i'll have to sign up again if i don't want that wasted
