We are full-time RVers and our 2011 F250 with 6.7 PowerStroke broke down (original intercooler tube decided to blow apart while going up a hill!) east of Peridot, Arizona. Our tow provider highly recommended Eric at Gila Repair. We got our truck towed to his shop late on a Saturday afternoon. Eric very promptly replied to our text about it being dropped off. He was able to confirm the issue and he found the part in town that night. The part is aftermarket but honestly is better than the OEM part. We were able to pick it up the next day. We appreciate that Eric kept us appraised of the status (a lot of shops don't do that well), was quick to repair it (even though we were fine with and expected to waitng a few or more days), and his online system where customers get a link with all the work done, estimate, etc.

Eric at Gila Repair is a life-saver!!! If you are looking for a mechanic with integrity, look no farther than Gila Repair. My daughter and I had dropped my husband off on Mt. Graham for a weekend hike and we were to pick him back up on Sunday. Our car broke down on Friday first with a dead battery. It would not take a jump, so we replaced it (with borrowed "tools"-pliers- because my husband had accidentally left our car toolbox at home). Saturday morning we woke up to a dead car again. And again, we could not jump start it. We feared it was the alternator. It was the weekend and barely any shops in town were open and we were in a bind. A local tow company, Magnum, referred us to Eric and thank goodness they did! Eric quoted us the cost of the alternator replacement while we waited for our car to be delivered to his shop. He even dropped my daughter and I off at a restaurant in town so that we would not have to wait at his shop. About a half hour to an hour after our vehicle was delivered to him, Eric contacted me and said he had great news. Our battery terminals were just dirty and loose. He cleaned them up and tightened them and the cost was only $45. Apparently, I did a really poor job when I replaced our battery. Not surprising as I had never done it before lol. He had already quoted us the alternator cost. He could have (as unfortunately, many dishonest shops do) done that replacement and made more money. Instead, he showed his amazing character and showed us that there are still great people in this world. Plus, he even came and picked us up, too, so we didn't have to find a ride back to his shop. I HIGHLY recommend Eric at Gila Repair!!

If we could give a 10 we would. Super professional and knowledgeable.we wete feom out of town and he rally helped us put of a bind. I highly recommend him for all you auto needs

Eric was fantastic. We were travelling from Utah and had our Honda Pilot have a really weird sound. He diagnosed it to the timing belt tensioner. He had the parts. Very reasonable pricing and he had it up and back on the road in less than 3 days. Saved our trip and we got back to Utah without a hitch. Really appreciate the attention to detail. Way better than the big shops that really do not care.

My son was having trouble with his car, he had already had one mechanic look at it and could not get the issue diagnosed. He is in college and does not have a lot of funds to be taking his car to multiple mechanics for diagnosis. A teacher told him about Gila Repair, they worked with him till they got problem diagnosed. Gila Repair LLC are good people.
