American Leadership Academy, Ironwood K-6

This school is so backwards instead of fixing the racial issues that they have at the school and believe me there is a lot of them. They are more concerned about a kid of color looking to Urban with his hairstyle. I guess they're making sure you don't look too black and that you're not threatening and scaring other people from the way you look. This school is an absolute joke.

The only problem I have is the volunteers and/or teachers who hold the stop signs in the round about. They cause more headache for parents.

The parent pickup line is DANGEROUS. There are a lack of crossing guards and sometimes they dont show up at all. The parents will bully you. Seriously. If you like lack of communication, this is the school for you. If you want your child held for 40 minutes after school without being told they werent being released AND WITHOUT ALLOWING THEM TO CALL YOU, this is the school for you! If you think this school has a high level of education, please try sending your kid to school in almost any other state. If my child finishes this fifth year at this school without me transferring them out, it will be nothing short of miraculous.

Im a high school math teacher. My grandchildren go to this school. I am continually amazed by the level of learning I see coming from this schools programs. They have these kids reading books to their class in kindergarten! I cant say enough about how impressed I am. I would recommend this school without hesitation.
