Our agent Jodi Petkovich was awesome in showing us all the different communities Prescott has to offer. She started us with a general tour of the area in September on out first visit, narrowed the search on our second visit, then arranged for viewings of the top ten on our list for the last visit before we chose the house we wanted.
We appreciated her patience and trust that we were serious about wanting to move to Prescott, and that Jodi was always available for questions.

Working with Angela Bergemann of Hyland Group | eXp Realty has been both exciting and refreshing, and I can't recommend her highly enough. In a matter of days, we went from having no clue if we could even qualify for a mortgage, to choosing between three wonderful homes she found to make an offer on.
Her astounding patience with my lack of knowledge about the buying process and her no-pressure approach was both refreshing and comforting. In a cut-throat world where everyone seems to be looking for a quick buck, she has made this process less stressful than I could have possibly imagined. Beyond her own excellence, Angela's network is composed of honest, responsive, and knowledgeable experts whom I could easily trust based on her recommendations.
In addition to conducting a thorough walkthrough while providing her honest impressions of the space, she was very communicative and helped us get all of our questions about the property answered promptly. Angela was able to help us assess reasonable offer amounts as well as to present an offer tactfully to avoid undesirable back-and-forth negotiations.
When the home inspection revealed several major issues with the property, Angela laid out our options for how to move forward and did not pressure us into making one decision or the other. My wife and I felt supported in our decision to retract our offer, which did not result in any penalties thanks to the protections offered by the contract Angela provided us with. Within 12 hours of making our decision, she was giving us a tour of another wonderful property on the opposite side of Prescott!
Fast forward a few weeks and we are now happily residing in a wonderful home she helped us find. Not only did she help us negotiate a lower price for the house, but she even managed to get us a BRAND NEW ROOF at nearly the same cost. From the solar panels to the doggy door, we really couldn't be happier with our final destination on this crazy journey with Angela as our tour guide!
