There are painting companies and then there is Arizona Visions Painting! Donny spent one hour during the estimate! ONE HOUR?!!! (the other painters who came to give us estimates were there no more than 10 minutes and said little to nothing). He explained the entire process in detail, so that my husband and I knew exactly what to expect at each step. We couldn't be any more pleased with the quality of the work or the professionalism from Arizona Visions Painting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Services: Interior painting, Exterior painting

Update to my original review. I do not recommend this painter. Although he does have some mad painting skills, Donny is EXTREMELY PATRONIZING/CONDESCENDING and oh, so full of himself. In addition, 2 months after this job was complete, I had to gently wipe (with a clean cloth, of course), something off the wall. Although the paint was "satin", each time I gently wiped the wall, even with just water, and even gently dabbing it dry, this made a shiny spot. All Donny would do is tell me he's never heard of this in his 20+ years of painting... He'd already been at my house for four days, when he did the initial painting, and hardly ever stopped running his mouth (mostly patting himself on the back about what a skilled painter he is). On day 2 after leaving the house multiple times , he actually said to me when I got off a conference call, and I quote "I cannot paint a straight line when I hear people talking." I kid you not, this from a guy who talks NON STOP... In any case, no thanks to him, I finally got two Sherwin Williams paint reps out to my house to observe the issue. Right away, they knew the problem. The paint Donny the owner of AZ Visions had chosen for my kitchen and part of my living room, although it was satin, was NOT WASHABLE (although he kept raving about the quality of the paint while he was using it, and I won't go into detail, but he had a bazillion holidays after the 1st coat and only wanted to do touch ups and I practically had to have a cow to get him to do a second coat, which he finally agreed to do). Any bit of water, "burnishes" the paint. For the record, Donny chose "Super Paint" in "satin". The reps, because they know I'm a Sherwin Williams customer, comped me three gallons of Emerald satin paint (their highest quality and definitely washable). AND, one of the reps personally delivered it to my home. I am going to put one coat on top of what Donny already did, hoping this will be sufficient. There is no way in Hell I would ever have Donny in my home again, so not trying to get him to do any of the work... Original statement/review: Had Donny paint a couple rooms in my house. Final product was top notch. Service: Interior painting

I don't typically write reviews but these guys deserve it. I put my house on the market and needed to make as much on it as possible. I had already updated most everything over the years but my kitchen cabinets were old and in bad shape. Replacing them was out of the question--way too much money. I decided to refinish them but not a lot of painters in the area do cabinets. I found AVP on craigslist and decided to go with them based on the good feeling I got when I spoke with Donny, the owner. Let me tell you that my cabinets came out as if they were just made in the factory. Stole the show. PERIOD. My house sold overnight. Got my money back and then some! If you need your cabinets redone, don't waste your time with anyone else. These guys are the real deal! Service: Cabinet painting
