Dr. Paul F. Nault, MD

Dr Paul Nault was a marvelous PCP. However, he passed away several year ago. The Community Health services did not contact his patients to look for another PCP. They also now limit the practice to only Medicaid insurance. Again, they did not contact patients of this change. Very poor communication.

Dr. Nault is a wonderful doctor, who is genuinely concerned about patients with real medical needs.... He is a no nonsense doctor looking to help as many people who have genuine medical issues with a limited amount of time to do it. Real doctor with a real commitment to help those with real problems-and he is real good.

Dr. Nault is an exceptionally good doctor who works at a very busy community clinic where they treat everyone, not just the well-to-do. He works at a hundred miles an hour, spends most of the visit reviewing and updating your medical records on the computer (something which some apparently find offensive). I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and, equally important, he treats you like an adult. He will suggest tests or procedures you might want or that he would recommend, but in the end, he leaves the decision to you. If he appears brusque, it is because he is trying to take care of as many patients as he can; if you have a question he hasn't answered, all you have to do is assert yourself before he hurries off to his next patient and he will answer your questions.

We moved here recently from Florida. We never did find a competent doctor there (my son clinically died do to an error by one of the Florida doctors). What a difference with Dr. Nault. He is definitely type A personality and you must speak succinctly and to the point. But he listens, he explains and he even caught an error another doctor had made. My wife recovered from a potentially life threatening event in part due to Dr. Nault.

My husband and I each saw different Dr's at Yavapai County Community Health Services. Neither would listen to our needs, concerns, and treated us as if we knew nothing about our own bodies! The last straw for my husband was when he made an appointment with the Dr. Paul Nault and Dr.Paul Nault made him wait for 45 minutes in the lobby. My husband, waited patiently this entire time, while have a severe panic attack, and finally after 45 minutes and the front desk person couldn't tell him when Dr.Paul Nault would be available, my husband left. 1) The Dr. was well aware of my husband's panic attacks which is why we asked for the first appointment after lunch, so the wait wouldn't be so long which is frequently a trigger. 2) It was supposed to be the first appointment after lunch! They didn't know when Dr.Paul Nault was going to be available? Really? After this incident, Dr. Paul Nault being the kind hearted, understanding soul that he is, sent my husband a letter dismissing him as a patient! Seriously! I knew then that we needed to find a different place. We needed a PCP who treated us like individuals and not another slab of meat without a name being processed quickly. We needed someone who would listen to our concerns, needs, and would give us options for cures. We needed respect, honesty, someone caring and heartfelt. We needed a huge change, but we had no idea where to begin to look and if that was even possible. After years of 'dealing with' Dr.'s and their pompous attitudes, such as Dr. Paul Nault, we had come to expect this. Little did I know how much how life was about to change for the better and I can thank Dr. Paul Nault for it! After leaving Yavapai County Community Health, we found Your Health Clinic. Folks, if you need a GOOD, caring, kind, compassionate (everything Dr. Paul Nault is NOT), look here. They are wonderful! We have been there for three years now. Our entire family goes there and there's no way we're leaving. So thank you, Dr. Paul Nault, because seriously, without your horrible treatment, we'd still be stuck seeing you.
