Polara Health - Windsong Center

Reluctant to try Polara Health due to the reviews, I tried another facility first. With a poor experience at that facility, I again consulted my primary care office and they said other patients had a good experience with Polara, so I booked some appointments. So far, everyone I've encountered there has been great, but especially my therapist, who is the reason I came here to do a review. Eileen, who is an intern, has been nothing short of amazing! I've seen about 8 or 10 therapists in my life, and she is on a whole different level. She is compassionate, professional, incredibly focused, intuitive, appears to be genuinely non-judgmental, and knows what to say, and when to say it. She has even given me effective advice on things to try for my chronic pain, that many primary care physicians, and pain specialists have been unable to help with. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a therapist.

Your turnover rate is going our children more harm than good! My child has had 2 counselors leave without notice or goodbyes! Some children are there for abandonment issues and this is how you leave them. Shame on you!

My kids have been going here for years. Our therapist is great but medication management and office staff is horrible. I would give 0/5 stars if possible. I have had to go into that facility in tears begging for help for someone to assist us after weeks of leaving messages, being transferred to multiple people and just being hung up on. My children have suffered because of the incompetence of this facility. To diagnose a child with something and then require the parents to call DAILY to get the prescriptions sent is vile. I asked to speak with a supervisor and Im told that we didnt call and no one documented they spoke to us. This is after I had called almost each day for a week asking for help and for my childs medication to be sent to a pharmacy that has it in stock. We were told again this week they sent our childs prescription- they HAVE NOT. If you care about your children - dont bring them here. They have too many patients, the staff does not give a damn about anyone and they will diagnose people with things and then inhibit your ability to treat it by not doing their job. I am a nurse, I have fostered children in this community for years and adopted children with high needs. I am deeply disappointed and disgusted that this is the type of resources available in our community for families like mine. Do better Polara.

Horrible service they are so busy and no counselors or other providers can't even schedule you for an intake to get services and the help you need. The patient has to do everything themselves. They don't schedule anything or call to set up an appointment. You can't even meet face to face everything has to be on a screen very in personal. This place needs help to make things easier.

My therapist Robert is absolutely amazing. I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews. If you want to get better, have an understanding of your emotions, or triggers this is the place to go. My experience is Robert has been absolutely amazing. He genuinely loves his job and the people he works with he puts maximum effort. He is kind patient and understanding. I'm really glad that I took the lead and decided to get myself some help
