Dignity Health Outpatient Imaging Center, Prescott Valley

Waiting on a couple of huge surprise bills from them so I can say I'm far from pleased with this place. My mistake is that I assumed that they did their job verifying my insurance and coverage before my appointment (which I assumed because they said they did). I also asked at check out to make sure I didn't owe and they said I didn't owe today have a nice day. What they meant was: "we only went so far as to verify we are in network but didn't check coding on your services to find out how much was covered and what your portion would be. Good luck with the $2000 surprise bill coming your way!" Still haven't received the bills, I found out about them when I went online to check on some other claims I had going. I'm finding out that medical practices up here do this as standard practice. So not-so-pro tip: make them tell you how much your bill is estimated to be BEFORE you make an appointment. If they are an in-network provider, they can easily find out how much insurance will pay and how much will be left over for you to pay. If they don't know this answer, insist they do this before you schedule. You can also ask for the coding and call your insurance yourself to see what your bill will be. Had I been armed with this information beforehand, I would have waited to schedule until I knew I could pay my portion!

This rating is based on the customer service rep I spoke to via phone at their central scheduling department. Jennifer was EXCELLENT! She was able to answer and resolve my questions. She was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

I had to bring my elderly father in this office today. Our drive was 1 1/2 hours away. My father has to be on constant oxygen and something wasn't going right with it in this trip. We get there and I expressed my concerns, the ladies at the front really listened, cared and helped us immediately! They were so nice, one I'd like to point out the most was Christina, this lady....I don't see alot of WOW moments in my life...today was one of them. She was 1000% amazing. It seems in this world we live in, people lose the heart factor in a way, pure kindness and immediate consideration. This girl will forever be in my mind and everything she did for me and my dad. Thank you Christina....thank you for being our angel today. You were amazing! We will always be grateful. I wish all staff in every place treated people this way. Thank you again!
