Nice enough staff but I don't feel well cared for or like a valued patient. It takes forever to hear back from anyone. I've been waiting 2 months to schedule surgery which was supposed to be this month because that's when my schedule allowed for it but isn't bc they dropped the ball. I schedule appointments with my doctor and seldom do I actually meet with her, instead I'm stuck with her resident after waiting weeks or months for an appointment. While I like the resident, I didn't sign on with this doctor to never actually see her. I'm over this place and this point. Much better care at Mayo Clinic.

I called trying to be seen by a doctor and the receptionist was extremely rude. I ended up not even continuing the call because the way the lady was speaking to me . Im pregnant, and pretty emotional, and that lady was completely non sympathetic at all . Just 100% rude .. I guess I wont be going there ..

I have not had the experience that most of the other people here have had. I have been to multiple locations and they've all been very nice and staff has all been very nice and professional. The only thing I will say is that communication is sometimes a challenge. Like they say they're going to call to schedule surgery, PT or injections but they never do. You have to call them and usually leave more than one message. I was sent to Dr. Mahnert by the VA hospital after previously being at St. Joes and getting nowhere with them after a year and a half. The pelvic pain and surgery department at dignity St. Joe's is a joke and after a year and a half even my doctor, Dr. Castellanos, bailed out and left them. Since I've been at Banner, Dr. Mahnert has always been very straightforward, informative and supportive. This is exactly what I want in a GYN+ I recommend this place if you're looking for pelvic pain specialist. *I will update this post after my surgery this summer. Post surgery I like this place even more. Dr. Mahnert is everything I ever wanted in a women's health doctor as well as an exceptional surgeon. The residents and techs are equally professional and supportive of their patients.
