I love how swift their service has been. They were swift with their approval as soon as the repair shop contacted them. The other time I had issues with my tire and it needed to be towed, they helped me tow the vehicle.

I just had my first experience using my Veritas Global Protection plan. I called them when I had a flat tire, and the representative was kind and patient throughout our conversation. After all was said and done, they assigned a truck that towed my car to the mechanic and reimbursed me for the out-of-pocket expense.

This company is a complete sham! I purchased a premier level service agreement last year when I bought my car. A few months ago, I had to have a high $$$ repair done that involved my strut. The dealership refused to file a claim with Veritas. That same day, I contacted customer service department. I spoke to a less than pleasant gentleman that refused to tell me anything about my coverage, and insisted on sending me a copy of my contract, ya know, because I know more about it than the producer of the coverage plan. The contract was never received. Growing frustrated, I contacted Veritas again on 11/2, to see what my options are to recoup some of the monies I paid. I mean, thats why I purchased a coverage plan to begin with, right? I was told I could email the repair invoice and file a claim myself. For the last 60 days, Veritas has done no outreach. The responsibility for follow up and status has fallen on me. I called yesterday and spoke with a representative for status, only for her to tell me that my claim was denied because I didnt follow the 3 day submission rule. Not knowing of a 3-day submission rule, I was extremely confused. When I asked her to explain this to me, she says, its MY responsibility to receive prior authorization and submit a claim within 3 days of the repair. I have nothing that tells me what policy standards I am to adhere to, so theres no way I could have followed these rules; however, had the gentleman that I spoke with the day the services were completed told me that, I could have somewhat fallen in-line. Instead, here we are 3 months later with me paying an astronomical amount for coverage that I cant use, and an astronomical repair amount. Please dont let these people fool you!! I believe I am going to reach out to an attorney to see what my legal repercussions are. If youve been jilted by these folks, I suggest you do the same.
