I applied to these guys for a job and they gave me an offer letter and told me I was approved. I drove all the way from Oregon to their Albuquerque location for training. The orientation date was set and I was doing their online courses. They then suddenly rescinded the offer out of nowhere with no explanation as to why. They wasted my time and about $600 dollars in gas to drive from Oregon to New Mexico and back again after they rescinded their offer. Dont trust these guys, I thought I would give them a chance but there is a reason Swift has a bad reputation.

In the last couple of months, I've sat around waiting more than I have been driving. I get there may be times that it happens, but back-to-back and not just one day it's been two or more each time... No thank you. This last stent is the longest: emptied in TX Apr 1st about 19:46, and went to the Houston terminal (which is a little mobile home and not a terminal as they have nothing there, the bathrooms were our of order) April 2 to turn in the damaged trailer and find a new one, waited two days for a load that was taken off of me on Apr 5 after driving just over 200 miles to get closer to the pickup because it was on hold and should not have been dispatched, and I have been waiting ever since. Now, I put in a hometime request weeks ago to be home by today, April 8th, and Swift definitely dropped the ball and has not done their job to make sure that happened. The load they just tried to give me doesn't pick up until tomorrow, April 9, and deliver Wed, April 10th, which is three days off my hometime request. It's like pulling teeth to get communication and clarification, ESPECIALLY on the weekends. It's like no one exists on the weekends. There needs to be some type of backup plan for us drivers when things like this happen. It may be a long way from TX to AZ, but if Swift isn't able to do its job in getting a driver home loaded, there needs to be an option for driving either empty or bobtail with proper compensation and fueling. This is absolutely unacceptable I also cannot edit my own hometime request, and my current dispatcher hasn't responded to me. I sent in a message on the point app, and no has responded for 20 minutes... Y'all need to get it together. This is just one experience of many where Swift has been way less than exceptional.
