Marten Transport Ltd

Been in the transportation industry for two decades, have only been with Marten for just over one year started November 2022. I know you cant please everybody so perhaps I have just been very fortunate because I love it here. I was blessed with a brand new truck, I know thats not everyones story and believe me Ive had my share of clunkers over the years so maybe I was just due lol. I also got very blessed and started right from the very start on an awesome dedicated account. I genuinely hope to be here for the long haul (sorry for the deliberate pun ) but seriously I would really like this to be where I retire, Im 44 years old, I love trucking, I pray the machines dont take over before Im ready to ride off into the proverbial sunset. So, given some good fortune and health I think I have at least another good two decades left in me. Btw, I want to also offer an honorable mention to our shop here in Phoenix, never worked with one better. Thats not to degrade anyone else Ive had the pleasure to work with and have had a good working relationship with but only to express how impressed I am with these guys here. Im horrendous with names but everyone Ive dealt with just seem to be good natured and I know that job isnt easy, especially dealing with us drivers lol but everyone is great, seriously. Im not actually sure who runs this shop but theyve clearly cultivated an awesome culture and hired good people. I love (sorry dont recall his name) how the gentleman who works the inspection lane always greets me with whats up buddy? There are a number of others Ive worked with as well that Id like to give a shoutout to but Im not sure how to distinguish them individually and unfortunately my capacity for recalling names is abysmal. This company has an employee that passed during a trip, the company refuses to assist the family in returning the body home. Leaving a family without their bread winner, physically and literally. Got all these fancy shiny trucks but no decency. Guess sending a body home can't be written off, huh?

Good paying company. Bad weather pay. They actually answer you back when you send in questions on the computer ,anytime of the day. Any questions you got ,ask them .It will be answered.
