Honestly, tried to give this place a million shots over a three year span. In the last three times I've been there, I've waited at least 20 minutes for even waste before the chance to get an order in. I let me waitress know about a food allergy and as she told the kitchen, they laughed. Really weird for a restaurant that considers themselves service focused. I made an inside reservation weeks in advance of my birthday, but then was told the old room was on the patio with no shade. No apologies ... Just take it or leave it. The food is good, but the wait and the service and the discomfort are not the experience i want or need. Dietary restrictions: Not accepting or accommodating

The food here is SO delicious, homestyle with so many flavors but sophisticated at the same time. Finally a place in dtphx that actually has some good textures and flavors going shrimp and grits for brunch was top notch. Loved those crispy pig ears. Excellent with some eggs on top. Cauliflower app was really good, pancakes were highly recommended. Dirty rice was tasty. We gotta go back to try that fried fish sandwich cuz it looked GOOD. Biscuits and gravy also were well-rated by a friend in our group. The staff was super friendly and helpful even though they were very busy and kitchen was def working hard but all our food came out perfectly cooked and all at once. Nice ambience; the only thing to note is no AC inside so patio may be nice with a breeze or just dress lightly. Overall 10/10, so happy youre in the neighborhood!
