The company they chose for me Titan has not been tge best experience. I can't reach them easily. They call or text back weeks later or not at all. I guess the seller got a big commission from them. I need one panel, one replaced and 6 months later nothing. I have a flat roof they said there is a shadow in the middle of your roof. Do not use Titan or solfinity. I paid them $32,000 cash and this is how I am treated.

Where do I start, Tyler Taggard has been ( the go to any lengths) to help with the A-Z solar process. Very transparent with his communication and is committed to his clients months afterwards. I had questions about tax credit and he was extremely helpful calling me back and walking me through it. I feel very confident with him representing his business as a true professional. He is experienced and confident in what he does ( saving money).. thanks Tyler

Update to my review: Please Read This company also known as Freedom Forever, lied to my face! The beginning process was great but since then I have had problems and was lied to about the tax credit. There is not one FYI. Also, my panels stopped working in December but no one told me until someone showed up at my door to fix it. The tech said they would cover my energy bill for that month since their panels were not working. Called the company and they were rude and said they would not cover anything. So i had to pay at the holidays a$390 power bill on top of my almost $300 solar payment. Do not trust this company or the rep Aaron Pineda who will no longer answer my calls or texts. I had a great experience with this company. I worked with Aaron Pineda and he was super friendly and answered all my questions. Sometimes after you are sold something the customer service goes down hill, but not with this company. They were very communicative on ever step in the process and the installers were very nice and got the installation done in 2 days. Very happy all around and excited to have cut my power bill in half.

Sadly, there are many things that were not explained well, and you will never understand until you have solar in Texas. First, your electricity bill never goes away. If you live in any place with Oncor, there is always a delivery charge of 6 cents per kwh. Second, make certain that your roof is new. If you have any work done to your roof, then the solar company's 25 year warranty no longer applies to the roof damage that might come from the solar. Also, you will have to find and pay a roofer to remove the panels before reroofing and to have them reinstalled after replacing the roof. In other words, you should never get solar unless you have a relatively new roof. Third, the solar credit for the federal taxes will take more than the year and a half that you will get with Goodleap financing to get it to them. In my case, I would have to pay the $16000 credit in the first year and a half whereas I will not be able to recoup the full credit until around 6 years has passed. The credit doesn't work like the earned income credit. This is going to result in an increase from $153 per month to $220 month. Before getting solar, our electricity bill was $180 per month during the worst month of the year. We will have 0 savings for the first 10 years. The only way to make solar work is possibly going all electric. We have partial natural gas. Fourth, there are few companies that do net metering in East Texas. I have only found one company TXU Energy that does net metering, and I found it only after I was stuck in a contract that I had with Champion Energy who did Solar Buyback at wholesale rates. Champion Energy charged my wife and I 12 cents per kwh under the agreement for electricity purchased in off-peak hours. When the electricity provider Champion Energy bought the power back, it was at around 3 to 4 cents per kwh. In other words, I would wind up paying a net of 8 to 9 cents per kwh while paying for solar panel financing that included a large dealer charge. It works differently for other states, but Jim Dunn and other Texas energy producers have paid Texas lawmakers to fight solar in Texas by making laws that make it less affordable than other states. Solar companies are being sued by many state attorney generals because of the deceptive practices of the ones selling solar. If you decide to go solar, I encourage you to do your homework. I wish that I had done better. I am 53. My solar will likely not pay any dividends until after I am dead and gone.

I feel this company took advantage of my elderly parents who are on a fixed income. Why would any solar company install 2 complete systems on 1 house? Complaints have been files without resolution.
