Our ordeal with Active Renter was nothing short of a nightmare: - We were abruptly informed, with only 30 days left on our lease, that the renewal paperwork we had already reviewed was null and void. This left us in a frantic scramble to find a new place to live within a tight deadline. - Despite numerous calls, it took them weeks to address a broken water line underground in our property. As a result, we were left to deal with water bills exceeding $500 per month, which we were unfairly held responsible for due to a maintenance issue that should have been the owner's responsibility. - Their priorities clearly lie with making money and securing their employment with landlords, rather than advocating for the rights and needs of tenants.

Active Renter managed my rental property for over three years. During that time period they wrote three leases after finding and vetting the tenants. I never had a problem with any of them. Richard was also very knowledgeable about the current rental market and I always followed his advice in regards to rental rates. It was such a pleasure to have someone manage the property and I rarely had to handle anything other than answer a question. The only reason Active Renter is not managing my property is because a family member moved into it.

Our experience with Active Renter was a horror story: -We got moved into a property with a broken water line underground. We called about it and it took them weeks to figure it out. By then we were left with water bills over $500 a month that we were made responsible for, when it was caused do to a maintenance issue, which was the owners responsibility. -They sent us lease information to renew and at the very last minute, with only 30 days left they randomly decided not to renew and tell us the renewal paperwork we had already reviewed was null and void. Leaving us to have to scramble to find a new place in only 30 days. -They do not advocate for the tenants at all. Theyre much more concerned with making their money and staying employed by the landlord.

After working with a national company that had no personalized service and couldnt find a renter for me I switched and tried Active Renter with Richard. He found a renter quickly and it was a great success. He does an amazing job and couldnt be happier.
