I am so happy to have found a practice with a focus on an active population and most especially with Nicolette who is just outstanding! My program is truly tailored to me, and I get so much out of each visit. I can feel the progress I have made already! I would not hesitate to recommend her and Endurance to anyone especially if you are trying to navigate staying active as you recover.

I have gone to Endurance Rehab(36th st/Campbell) several times for various injuries. I know the staff well. Office staff are always accommodating for scheduling. Advanced scheduling is a must, appointments fill up fast. I am treated like an athlete. At my age that helps boost my confidence which keeps me motivated. I have not needed surgery for my shoulder thanks to Kristina Lott using different techniques for my recovery. She has given me workouts to follow at home via an online program that shows video of how to do it correctly. They can also give you a printout. There are other great therapists there and they all work well together as a team. Now that I had knee surgery Kristina has given me the patience talk. Not to over do it or go to fast in my recovery. She has progressed me at the right pace. The techs are trained well to stay on the lookout for any poor technique that a patient might be doing. Thanks Kristina, for your constant push to be the most efficient running physical therapy facility.

I try not to write poor reviews but I wish I knew this before attending. I came here several months ago with a sprained knee because it was one of the few places my insurance covered. The issue with my knee was and had always been the swelling. It didn't hurt to use until it swells the next day, which made it difficult to gauge how much I could exercise without hurting myself. When I had injured it, it also hadn't even hurt much but swelled up so much I could hardly move it. When I was telling this to the first person seeing me, he asked during assessment if it had swelled when I injured it. I was caught off guard as I don't know how he could've been listening to my explanation while missing the emphasis on how swelling had always been the biggest problem. He then assigned me 5 exercises and passed me off to someone else to oversee them. 3 of them were the kind of weight-lifting movements (step-ups, etc) that I had explained cause swelling. I was confused but followed instructions because they are the professionals. While exercising the other guy asked if it hurt and because it didn't, he had me do extra--even though I had explained that my knee didn't hurt with use and that the problem is that it hurts the following day. I cannot gauge my limit with pain alone because the pain will be delayed, and that is why I was here. They sent me home without having me apply ice to prevent swelling. I was picked up by a family member who told me I looked like I was limping when I left the building. I applied ice and took an NSAID immediately upon arriving home, but the next day my knee swelled up so much that I had a severe limp for 3 days. I'm lucky that I work from home so it didn't affect me, but I couldn't leave the house. I don't know if I should've reminded them of my limits or asked for ice but I don't think I should need to. I did not feel like I was listened to, and I was tossed a generic set of strength-building exercises that didn't accommodate my issue. I had attended a different PT before this location who had set better standards. They gave me warm-up exercises, ice to prevent swelling, and a creative exercise routine that didn't put stress on my knee. I feel like they had actually listened to my issue and taught me how to build strength without hurting myself. Unfortunately I found out my insurance didn't cover them, and I ended up here while searching for a new location. One plus I will give this location is that they worked me very hard and I appreciate being pushed to commit. That is however a problem when half the exercises I'm working are movements that I had told them cause swelling.
