I went to see Dr. Gallo and on my very first visit the following occurred: 1. I am waiting for an MRI to be set up for severe shoulder pain/keeps dislocating etc. She would ask me questions and when I would answer she would interrupt me every time and talk right over me impatiently. 2. She told me that I managed to put my makeup on nicely and my hair back nicely so must not be in too much pain (sarcastically). Wow. It was like she knew my body better than I do!! She doesn't know my mom had to wash my hair and put my hair back for me and has been helping me since I can't use my right arm. Makeup wasn't hard .The point is she was belittling me . 3. When I stood up she said "oh! And I see you can put some pressure on it so I don't write Dr's notes for pain. The federal law doesn't support mevwriting you off work for this situation." I said to her. "I can't even put a cap on a pen." She was insulting. The best part was when she said she wouldn't give me any vicodin or anything to help me even get through the night (when pain is at worst) because she doesn't know what is wrong in my shoulder until the MRI. Totally fine. But she prescribed me a hard core nerve pain medication?? I thought we didn't know what is wrong yet? This was a horrible experience .After I get the MRI results back I will be discharging myself from her and asking for a different provider either there or at a new facility ad a whole. Anyone I have told about this agrees and is APPAULED.

She's one of the best pain Dr I have been to which isn't many went to her after I left 12 yrs at the same place then I was with sandy for 2 yrs till she left to go to another practice as did one of the other Dr I was unable to follow her due to the insurance I havee followed the another Dr that left shortly after her she truly cared about pain and the management of it.I had a grandson who was 2 months old when I first started seeing her and seeing her every month she saw him grow up to now I have adopted him.she was a great Dr and will go to her agan when and if my insurance changes and I can't see the Dr I see now4
