A&C Brothers Moving & Storage

I first want to point out that at least 1 of the 5 star reviews for this company is from an employee of the company. It makes me question the other 5 star reviews, so don't trust the 5 star reviews. I was originally quoted that it would take 3.5 hours to move my 1 bed 1 bath apartment into another 1 bed 1 bath apartment. I was told that furniture would be shrink wrapped, including dressers, desk and bed mattress. The mattress was not wrapped and luckily I had a cover over it otherwise the mattress (which is only a few months old) would have been destroyed. I had many lego sets in boxes that the movers who arrived just threw around, carried upside down and had heavier boxes set on top of, many of the sets are now in pieces and I don't know what pieces went to what set nor do I have the instructions to put them back together. I also have glassware that was broken due to the same carelessness. I was frequently asked when they were loading the van what they were taking, even though I told them to take everything multiple times. In my quote, I was quoted $135 for travel and it was explained to me that it is for going from my old apartment to my new one, however, this was apparently not factored in to the 3.5 hours from the time the movers arrived to the time they left and the travel time was used as part of the move. During the drive to the new apartment, the movers stopped at QT for over 30 minutes. (I was driving right next to them and saw them pull in to the QT.) I was still charged for their 30 minute lunch break. When they called their headquarters to settle the payment they said they had about 30 minutes left of unpacking. It took them 5 minutes because all that was left was my mattress and bed frame. I still ended up paying for 3.5 hours when I should have only been charged for 2. Afterwards, Terrance asked for a tip and was very disappointed when I said I didn't want to give one. I'm just glad they had already unloaded all of my stuff prior to telling them I wasn't going to tip them. If they had known prior I believe my belongings would have been treated worse.

Melito and LayJon was very aware of the furniture and payed attention to detail. I recommend these young men any time!

If you're looking for the worst moving company in the Valley you've found them. They don't even deserve 1 star. Terrible experience, they arrive late without tools to disassemble your furniture, which was quoted in the estimate. It doesn't get any better, they will show up without water and sit behind furniture, where they think you can't see them and text on their phones. Meanwhile the cost of the move is skyrocketing. One thing they are experts at is milking the clock! I've never seen moving people this slow. I was trying to save a buck, but in the long run paid much more. Good luck filing a claim form for damaged furniture, it won't download on your device. You'll have to go to their place of business, which is difficult to find because no signs are posted for A&C Brothers. You 'll be directed to speak with Art, it's easier to get an appointment with the President. You won't be allowed into their office, you'll stand on the sidewalk baking in the sun. Now that's what I call customer service!!! This was a never ending nightmare. Don't just walk away from this company. I wouldn't hire this company to even walk my dog, if you do they would probably steal it. RUN AWAY!!! AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! PS Even after posting this review, A&C Moving and Storage made NO attempt to reach out and rectify the situation. How this place is still is business is beyond my comprehension. Awful Awful Awful...
