Valon Mortgage

Took over my mortgage in January. Somehow dont have my insurance info and now my home insurance has not been paid and Im getting cancellation notices from them. Literally the bare minimum of what a mortgage servicer is supposed to do and theyve failed. Pathetic Seems to be a common theme looking at other reviews. *Update - they finally straightened out the payments with my home insurance at the last minute to avoid lapsing. Still seems like intentional incompetence by the company to try to force customers onto Valon provided insurance. Sad, because the website for the company is actually great and the most user-friendly for a homeowner that Ive experienced with all the different mortgage servicers Ive had now.

Can echo what other reviewers have mentioned. Mortgage was transferred to them, and they have been by far the worst of all mortgage servicing companies Ive dealt with. Hope they sell my mortgage to someone else, I dont see how it could be any worse.

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would. Please don't ever use this mortgage company. Worst customer service ever. We didn't have a choice because our mortgage was sold - but I'm going to be refinancing as quickly as possible. my next stop on this review train is to track down the CEO and give him a piece of my mind

Theyre just fine. All the horror stories Ive read about being switched over and then being placed on lender-placed insurance shortly after were much ado about nothing. You buy property with a mortgage, you pay the mortgage. Mortgage company in turn doesnt foreclose on your property. Easy. Customer service is pretty top notch and you are notified of changes well in advance. Actually, I would say they do a better job of it than our previous servicer.

Absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with in 77 years!!! These guys will increase your payment with NO NOTICE, increase your rate, and auto deduct their excesesive charges WITHOUT APPROVAL. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS!!! Your current lender might sell your loan to them, and if so, REFINANCE with a reputable company immediately!!!! Norman W. Karr Jr.
