When I first started seeing my psychiatrist he was great. Unfortunately his schedule changed and I had to cycle through 2 other psychiatrist. Now I no longer have a job or insurance and my psychiatrist refuses to refill my prescription without an appointment but without insurance I can't make an appointment. I jave been on venlafaxine and quetiapine for 2.5 years and am being forced to quit cold turkey and they do not care at all. If you look up these medications everything says that you should not stop cold turkey and it can be dangerous. I feel so ill

if you dont mind not being able to speak to anyone ever other than your dr, if you dont mind getting the call to schedule your follow up (1 month) 3 weeks after its supposed to be made, and if your 100% certain you will never need to speak to a nurse or will need access to information before you see your dr again (I.e. like I did recently with a super rare side effect from a medication) the nurse line will NOT EVER return your voicemails. So do with this information what you will. My dr is amazing but shes the only good thing here period. Even the receptionist forced you to wait on hold multiple times for her to reach the back office nurse care team they never, EVER answer and she will expect you to let her try at least 3x regardless that over the course of the day we repeated this process 4x. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Gave this place a try as a new patient, for my first appointment the DR pretty much asked me why I’m seeking treatment, I gave a brief/general answer, and she prescribed me a new medication (that when I researched was not for my conditions), asked me if I had any questions and would see me in a month. So this place is pretty much just general medication management, meaning they’re not gonna be thorough and ask you any questions to get an in depth diagnosis, it’s pretty much you need to ask questions if not they’ll just give you some meds and see in a month maybe longer. The DR even told me that it’s just medication management, which is fine, I just thought at the very least they would do a new patient assessment and ask you thorough questions on your first appointment to make sure they have a good/correct diagnosis whereas in my case that did not happen, it was a quick call asking ME what my diagnosis was and then giving me a medication and “any questions” and see you in a month. Again I get this isn’t a therapist, but c’mon for a new patient you need to be more thorough or have a list of questions to ask the patient to make sure you got it right. I called and canceled my next appointment and they didn’t even care why I didn’t want services anymore, but they were very thorough when it came to collecting my insurance information...gotta love the USA healthcare system
