I called to get a set up a virtual care because I had tested positive for covid - I would have seen any provider and they wouldn't schedule a virtual appointment for me.. instead they scheduled an appointment with my doctor 15 days out. saying that they were not scheduling virtual for covid at this time. I needed help and treatment right now not 15 days from now... I have always raved about the Mayo but I have to say in the past few years they have gone downhill and are slowly becoming just like all the other corp. hospitals seem to care more about money then patient care. the system says that I spoke to someone on that day but never had a virtual visit. Dr Kruger is my primary doctor and she is the best! but I can't get in to see her with all the obstacles put in place. I used to feel proud and safe knowning that I am a Mayo patient.. now I am truly nervous and Very disappointed.

Getting refills is like pulling teeth. It shouldnt take a week to get something refilled. If youre thinking about becoming a patient here forget about it. And if you are a current patient there are better options.

Mafia owned? While getting treatment or helped, be prepared for strong-arm billing statements. They set me up on payments but if I don't get it cleared up it goes to collections. Just what I need to hear while trying to be diagnosed for several issues. Getting appointments is very easy but they always seem booked out 2 to 3 months. I gotta call them again to keep away their collectors. Doctors seem nice and care but again, it takes months to get anything diagnosed, better to try outside facilities and coordinate your needs, less stressful than waiting months between appointments.

Waited three business days to get a call back from their appointment department for nothing. I was told the "diagnosis" for my thyroid issue isn't seen by their endocronology department. I would have to wait until I had a more severe diagnosis that they do treat. When I asked if I could be seen by a primary doctor I was told that they had a 2 & half year waitlist and they recently sent letters to these people letting them know that they were taking everyone off the waitlist because it became too long. The women I spoke to literally said to me I'm sorry there's nothing we can do to help you. What a waste of time.
