We had Straight Line do our back yard in 2011. The electrical work failed the 1st inspection and it was discovered it was done by a landscaper, not a licensed electrician as claimed. The 110v line to the water feature pump was installed incorrectly, leaked, and shorted out after a few years.
Most of the travertine pavers are no longer flat as no proper base was laid below them.
Over the years Ive replaced many leaky sprinkler risers because cheap cut-off risers were used and break easily.
Today, I dug up another and discovered a plumbing mess that defies description. Please see the photo. Seven elbows were used when only 2 were needed and 4 of them were the wrong type. Apparently it was leaking at time of installation and epoxy was used to cover the leak instead of a proper fix.
The epoxy finally failed and required removal and repiping. There were other problems but are too numerous to mention here.
If you want quality work that will stand the test of time, hire another company.

If you're looking for a quality contractor that you can put your faith and trust in to get the job done well and set your mind at ease, then look no more. If you're looking for cheap work, questionable quality, delays and poor communication then you have a lot of options. Straight Line isn't the cheapest but they are the best overall value.
From the get go, we had a landscape designer in Holly who could see our vision but then helped enhance it. She doesn't just draw, she designs. Straight Line's team was very professional, highly organized and the installers were craftsmen. Their teams have been together for many years so they really know how to get jobs done well. They come in with a large group and knock it out, rather than having a few people show up a couple days each week. Travis is highly knowledgeable and great with finding solutions and options to unforeseen obstacles. They put everything in writing which eliminates the he said she said that is rampant in contracting. Bottom line, you can trust them to do what they say and ensure that you're 100% satisfied with your job. They warranty their work as well and they jumped right on the warranty issues that did come up. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Our backyard is a focal point and the place we love to hang out. It's our house that tends to host the neighborhood events and it wouldn't be so without Straight Line.
