We were shopping around for a pool builder after we purchased our new home in Surprise, AZ in January 2022. We received quotes from (3) reputable builders in the area. After weighing all the pros and cons of the other builders we decided to have David Hay and his team build our pool. It is worth noting that the other two pool builders were more expensive and quoted over a year to complete the project. The Design Process: Before we signed the contract, David provided us with images of what our pool might look like. We sent a photo of a waterfall feature that we wanted incorporated into the design. Spoiler Alert!! The finished pool looks exactly like the design images. Communication Process: David Hay and the rest of the team were delightful to work with throughout the entire duration of the design and construction of our pool. They responded in a timely manner and resolved any issues promptly. The Construction Process: Pool construction began at the beginning of March 2022 and finished in August 2022: 6 months total build time! Through no fault of the team; there was a significant delay getting shotcrete, due to shortages. After a phone call to David, we were scheduled for shotcrete the very next week. The entire construction process was seamless. Final Thoughts: We are thrilled with the final look of our backyard and pool. Our backyard looks spectacular, and our pool built beautifully. We are proud to have our friends and family to enjoy the pool; we have received so many compliments. The entire team did a fantastic job! It is not easy going through a major project like pool construction; we extend our sincerest gratitude to the entire design and construction team, particularly David Hay, for making the experience as pleasant as possible.
