We have absolutely no reason to misuse the loyalty and trust that we have built up with our customers throughout the years.Let us recap how our entire interaction went.You began by calling our store and asking us if we purchase scrap silver. We said yes, but that we always need to see it and test it first before we can agree to buy it. We informed you of the price we normally pay. You then came into our store and mentioned that you called us, and then showed us your scrap pieces (it did not look like any casting grain we've ever seen). As we had already discussed over the phone, and as we reiterated in our store, we asked to test it and weigh it, and you agreed.We have been buying scrap silver for the past 10 years. The reason for needing to test it is that a lot of silver is plated, or is mixed with other alloys, and we have been scammed in the past. It is a precautionary measure that is standard throughout the entire precious metals industry.Although we had never done business with you before, as this was your first time in our store, we decided to take the risk that your pellets may have other alloys beneath their surface; we still gave you the benefit of the doubt by weighing everything and offering you the exact rate that we quoted you over the phone. When you refused, and demanded a much higher rate, we informed you that we could not pay the rate that you wanted. At that point, we returned ALL of your scrap pellets to you, without keeping a single pellet, and wished you a good day.As this review is a blatant fabrication, we have reported it. We take slander extremely seriously and will be reaching out to the proper personnel.
