My husband Fred Turner was a patient at Northpark Health and Rehabilitation from 2/26/24 to 3/14/24. The care he received more than exceeded our expectations. He was transported from the hospital to Northpark because he was unable to walk. He was greeted at the door by 5 staff members who welcomed him to Northpark. From the team members who kept Freds room clean, to the team members who brought his meals, to the nursing assistants who took his blood pressure and other vital, to the Drs, RNs and LPNs , we were treated with exceptional Personalized Care.It was apparent to both my husband and I that ALL the employees who we came in contact with cared about the people in their care and for the company they worked for. The chef personally came to Freds room to ensure the culinary team was meeting his expectations.The Physical Therapists were wonderful. They were sensitive to the fact that Fred had dialysis on certain days so they waited until he got back to the rehab center, had his lunch and had rested a little before they came to get him for his rehab session. The Nurse Practitioners, RNs, LPNs and Nursing Assistants were attentive and made sure Fred and I were aware of what was going on with his care. They did everything within their power to make Fred and myself comfortable. The receptionists were more than personable. They always had a smile on their face. They knew me by name and personally welcomed me everyday. When staff members found out Fred was going to be discharged, countless Team Members came to Freds room to wish him well and thank him for choosing Northpark. There were all kinds of hugs, handshakes and congratulations. We both were so impressed with the employees professionalism, respect for their patients and their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure Fred was able to walk out of the Northpark Rehab center on 3/14/24 unassisted. We are truly grateful to Northpark for all they did to prepare Fred to come home.

I would not recommend placing a loved one here. They are completely understaffed, they do not comply with what a patient needs to complete their therapy and safely leave their care. My mother was sent here for 2 weeks of P. T. after surgery, caught a bug in there and was not properly treated for the infection. The call button was always ignored, the food was sub par and served mostly cold. Male attendees should never be giving a shower to female patients EVER!!! The physical therapy she was supposed to have never happened so she never got any better. The day I had her removed to a hospital by ambulance they treated her so badly that she told me she was going to just lay there and die. I would not have given a one star rating, but you have to in order to leave a review.
