image If I could give 0 stars I would. Coram is by far the worst home care company we have ever had to use. Insurace had us using them for our enteral needs. I beg you to try and find someone else for your homecare needs if at all possible. The customer service is awful. There is none. I wait 30 minutes everytime I call just to speak with someone. We have spoke with Candace several times over the years and everytime the experience is a total waste of time. She has a bad attitude, does not listen to what your saying, and is quick to respond to what she thinks you said. As soon as she realized they dont take my insurance anymore, she hung up on me. That is unacceptable. Nobody should be treated that way. This bad customer service has happened on multiple calls ive made to this company over the years and again on my call today. I never received a call either to tell me they received the new script. That would have been a nice courtesy call, but Coram could care less. We have had to switch out of Coram a few times due to insurance changes, and every time the insurance made us go back to using coram it has been a nightmare. It never changes. Coram will also drop you as a patient after 90 days if you dont refill within their timeframe. Even if your perscription is still up to date, which will make you have to do run around and get new scripts sent, etc. Do yourself a favor, and take it from someone who has had to suffer through using services with this company, keep looking for a great home care company, because it is not Coram!!

image I am not one to leave reviews online, but I will have to make an exception this time. I will give this company 0 stars if I can. My son got discharged from the hospital almost a month ago now & we still don't have our tube feeding supplies. Every time I call their customer service, I get different reasons as to why our supplies hasn't arrived. I am getting nowhere. No one from this company doesn't seem to want to help address the issue in a timely fashion, especially since we are already running out of our initial supplies that we received in the hospital. I dont know how this company is still in business, especially being contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield for Home Health services. I requested to speak to a manager & it went straight to voicemail. I have not received a call back as well. I don't even know how or who to escalate my complaints regarding our issues with the supplies.
If you are considering which home health company to use, please do yourself a big favor and avoid this company if you have other options. It will save you a lot of time & headache. Unfortunately, I have to start the process again of finding another home health company that can provide my son's feeding tube supplies.

image We have been with Coram since the beginning of this year after being with Preferred for many years. My son has CP, epilepsy, and autism and gets medications through G-tube. Supplies are always late, and I dont get them at all unless I call.
Things came to a head this week. I called last week to schedule a delivery. I specified that I needed a new button as well since we are supposed to get one every 90 days (havent got one since May). I called a second time on Monday this week when nothing had come. Apparently, the delivery was never even entered into the computer. The service representative put in my order, and my delivery came the next day (Tuesday), but they had forgotten the button (I specified at least twice that I needed it). I called a third time yesterday and was told that my button was out for delivery and would arrive later that day. It still didnt come. I called a fourth time today and was told that the button was never entered into the system. She put an order for it and put it on recurring (why wasnt it already?). She told me that I still wont get the button until next Monday at the earliest. In the meantime, I may need to take my son to the ER to get s new button inserted because its been so long since we got a new one, and weve already used the back-up.
