I have been working for this company since we opened!! It has been the best!! Wouldnt want to work anywhere else! We treat our patients like they are family and we give the best care! We are a great team!!

I have been working for Desert Valley Hospice for the last 7 months and I can honestly say we have some of the most amazing, caring and hard working staff around. You can see all the compassion and love everyone has for our patients and their families. Everyone is treated with respect and we feel like a family. I am so happy to work for Dr Sciara and our amazing team.

I would totally recommend Desert Valley Hospice. They took care of my mother-in-law before she passed, and they were amazing. When I called, they answered they came. They sat with me, supported me through everything. I also work for an assisted living some of our residence. I have them, and again when weve called, theyve answered theyve came they give great assistance to their patients and their families. They truly have a heart and care.

As a current employee at Desert Valley Hospice I can't begin to express how grateful I am to be on the team. I had worked for two other hospice companies in the past where my work felt mundane and unrecognized. When I was given the opportunity to work for Dr. Sciara and his amazing team, I couldn't say no. It truly feels like family at Desert Valley Hospice and I've been given the chance to meet some amazing people.

My mom was a patient at Thunderbird (Glendale). I cannot say enough good things about the care she received during her 11 day stay. She arrived looking pretty rough and worn down. The very next day, I could see she had been lovingly cared for, staff had shaved her, lotioned her, cleaned and brushed her hair, and changed her into a beautiful gown. Each day I was in town to visit (Im from WI and was there December 15-20) she was freshly bathed, lotioned, well cared for. Even down to braiding her hair to keep it out of her face. The staff was attentive, gentle, and compassionate. They did an excellent job managing any pain or discomfort. Communication from all staff was also top tier. My mother passed the evening after Christmas, after I already returned home. I received the call very shortly after she had passed and was assured at least 2 staff members were with her when she passed. Since I could not be there, I really appreciated she didnt die alone. It doesnt stop there, Ive received follow up calls and mail to check in and offering grief services. They truly care about every part of the process for the entire family. I will forever be grateful for the care my mother received in her last days.
