30+ years I have returned to "Victor" my stylist and the owner of Esmero Hair Design. I am always satisfied with my outstanding "contemporary" styling & color services. The setting is easily accessible, hygienic with an air of professionalism that is exemplary! People are treated with dignity. Individual attention is given to fulfill unique/specific needs & styling requests. I highly recommend Esmero Hair Design.

On the plus side, Esmero's Salon is in a good Central Phoenix location and the prices here are more affordable than most.Victor, the owner is very personable too.Since I am an ex-hairdresser, I know the formula that I have been using for several years for my root touch-ups.Since Victor doesn't use my "very popular" brand he tried to adapt his. Unfortunately, for the 8mos I saw him he could never quite get the color match..Today, was the final straw though as he applied 80% violet on my roots. I use 75% medium brown and 25% auburn. My hair was a bright purple!Thank God, I spoke up and he admitted his mistake. He immediately rinsed off the violet and prepared a new formula. Unfortunately, this new attempt was a debacle ...ugh.As a professional you would think he wouldn't have charged me for all the mistakes he made today. But he did. So, not only am I out the $$, but I now have to go home and correct my two tone purple hair myself. I won't be back and can no longer recommend him. I give 2 stars for the good location and affordability. Zero stars for lack of expertise and poor quality of service.
