I refuse to update my review on their local office for it explains the entire story of why that review and location only has a 1 star. I am leaving this 3 star review for their corporate office for their employee Steve. If you had your own Yelp page I would give you a 5 star for all your help. Delia's cleaners all around the valley use a 3rd party cleaning company in Houston for their wedding dress cleanings. This is why it takes 3 weeks to have your dress cleaned and returned to you at a local shop. Since Delia's cleaners is contracted with them, they have to accept responsibility when the company in Houston destroys their customers items. I was told that this is a very rare occurrence and has not happened with a wedding dress before. My wedding dress was sent to be cleaned with a company called Memories. They half cleaned it and sent it back to Delia's. I asked Delia's to have it re-cleaned because you could tell the job was not done correctly for there were still stains. Then I got a call about the belt. A lady at the local shop "are you sure that it was originally sewn onto the dress?" YES! They said they would fix that and have it cleaned for me. Few calls later, they would clean and have the belt sewn back on free of charge. (See other review for more details) When it was sent back to Memories in Houston to be cleaned again, the company there accidentally burnt holes through the sheer tool on the chest part of my dress. They sent it back to Delia's and they called me to verify the holes in the dress! WHAT! NO!??? What happened!? So after arguing a little with Delia's and yelp reviews later, Steve from corporate contacted me. He gave me the run down of the dress and the process, that is how I found out about memories in Houston. He worked with them and after sharing receipts of the costs of my dress, they decided to reimburse me for the entire cost of my dress. I was not expecting that and would like to thank them for understanding the importance of a wedding dress. You don't just wear it once and throw it away! It was a custom order through Etsy, hand made from Bolivia. Steve took this into consideration and really made me feel like he wanted to make this right. He stayed in contact with me through the entire process. His customer service is the reason for the updated review with the better star rating. With the reimbursement they sent me, I was able to take my dress to a local seamstress and have the dress pulled apart and fixed. Not cheap! Thank you Steve for taking an extremely horrible situation and making it better! I am very happy my dress will be fixed and I can wear it again when my husband comes home from Afghanistan.
