I appreciate my therapist more than I could ever express with words but Strive, which is owned and run by Stacey Rowland, I can not express the same gratitude. Strive is not a place of healing to Stacey but strictly a business to make a profit which she has made very clear on multiple occasions and interactions I have had with her. I would not recommend Strive to you for that reason alone

I encouraged my 41 year-old bi ex-boyfriend who's a DJ (that's enough info to not name someone out of respect for their privacy) to seek therapy to help him with undiagnosed ASD... Man I really love him so much and hope he finds the freedom this will bring to his life. He went on the evening of September 6th. He was having issues with ASD meltdowns, moral impairment, mis-reading my emotions, SI, and for sure some other deep traumas as well as a strong negativity bias. I believe he received wrong med treatment in the past which didn't work, leading to critically serious SI. Here's to Strive for helping him break through! Perhaps one day he'll want to communicate and have unconditional love and kindness from me again... Ah for the therapist... All of the serious ASD things happened and really became more problematic when my Botox wore off... I kid you not. Before I didn't have facial expressions lol... But as soon as Botox wore off, I would be in a super happy emotional state and he would think I literally wanted to harm him... And I'm one of the most peaceful people anywhere, I've studied positive neuroplasticity therapy under Rick Hanson at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California... As well as workshops on trauma, hero's journey, IFS (internal family systems - amazing!) therapy, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and many many more. I've been going there 1 to 3 times a year for 2 decades. It'd take some work though, but in the end all it takes is communication and wanting to roll up your sleeves with an amazing positive and beautiful attitude, and communicate and understand each other. Do your best, Strive, do your best!
