Charles Schwab Corporate Office

Most boring company to work for. Not only is the nature of the work boring, but the middle managers make it worse with flagrant egos for their pointless goals. Worse, this company doesn't offer retirement plans to their own employees, and they are managing other people's retirements.

Terrible customer service. Over 2 weeks, I called 4 different times, spoke to 10 customer service ppl, sat on hold close to 2 hrs while I was phone transferred all over the country, until.... I was finally told that "centers" do not take calls. Huh. Nice job CS. Maybe train your staff better so that you can avoid bad reviews.

I never saw such a SCREWED up company. The transition from TD AMERITRADE BROUGHT ME nothing but mistakes in my accounts and caused me a lot of wasted time! Schwab has too many people who can"t service people and you get a different person every time you call--and get no results. I could go on. I would caution anyone before switching to Schwab!

When USAA moved its brokerage to Schwab I was a bit apprehensive. However, I lucked out and got Josh A out of the Phoenix office as my advisor. He has been superb, always responsive and throughly professional. He makes me glad I am secure with Schwab.
