I have two wonderful daughters who learned a lot and did well at this school, Unfortunately this was despite the toxic environment. Teachers prefer to look the other way instead of discipline.my kids were hit by other students without consequence. The education is great but at my kids mental health expense no thanks. They often complained the teacher didn't teach because they just yelled at us. One teacher even crumpled my daughters paper in 1st grade because he said he she didn't write a letter correctly, We loved basis chandler but this location has too many issues to address.

It was a great school when my son started to go in kThe principal Mrs Rosalyn was a great one:  kept everything in order The quality of education was also great I admit amazing team:Ms. Blount Math, arithmetic and science teacher Mr. HuthMr. Pousey. English and literature Ms DessantUnfortunately I needed to withdraw my son by the reason: mental and emotional pressure from the new science teacher Ms Bell Rooney SuzetteEvery day when my son came back home started this academic year he didn't have any desire to study on science at all. This teacher doesn't have much class: speaks very loudly on top of her voice during the lesson,  that scares the students, criticizing them not to be good enough ,doesn't communicate properly on parenting portal , very short with parents asking her a question regarding the study process... my son started to feel emotional pressure and kind of a mental abuse. Which is not good I went to see principal Ms. Miner-Rose to find the right solution From very beginning she mentioned that she doesn't have much time only just 10 minutes for me to communicate, she is very busy with other things in the school. What could be more important then conversation regarding the students, their emotional condition and mental health??? My son has been straight A student.Obviously no one does it anymore at that school For the last 2 months of schooling process 3 different teachers have been changed in my son's class I would never recommend any family to choose BASIS Phoenix central facility I am very disappointed

My child has gone here for several years  and until this year have we had to deal with issues within the school. The curriculum was awesome until my child given laxative as a joke and administration did the minimal. This school was the one of the best in the valley today it has to be a small upgrade from public school. At some point someone has to notice that this school is not using BASIS principles. It's a shame because we drive 26 miles one way just to get my child to this school. Looking for options at this point .
