I have been a client of theirs since 2020 and they are very unprofessional. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the pandemic. But as of January 2023 I am very upset with how they have treated me as a paying client, and small business owner. If you notice the majority of their 5 star reviews were predominantly from 4+ years ago and is not a current reflection of how they run business. They are extremely short staffed, move extremely slow and the CPAs are rarely available when you need them. If you have questions you generally have to get information from the front desk not an actual CPA. But more times than not they will claim their employees are on vacation for weeks at a time. Not to mention, their prices have literally doubled in a year, which given inflation, Ive seen the price of everything drastically go up. So a price increase is no surprise. But doubling your prices for the same service is pretty steep, however, with zero issues I paid in full for their services for 2 years. As of 2023 they are sending out very misleading emails disengaging from clients without an actual explanation. But as Im seeing in the other 1 star review from Mike Perez, they only service their highest valued clients. Which leads me to believe they will cut ties with clients without a cause if you are not within the top 2% of the population. Very discriminatory. If those were their standards of taking in new clients that shouldve been communicated in our initial meeting 3 years ago. So basically they only have the appropriate staffing if they believe your business generates enough money to capitalize off of you. I DO NOT recommend. I run a business and I would never treat my valued clients this way. Its also laughable to tell a client you dont have time to do their taxes as you send out emails promoting your charity tournament where they will gladly take money from their high valued clients. I have documentation of it all. Unprofessional is not even the word.

ASK FOR A QUOTE FIRST! Admittedly I did NOT. We (family/business) have used PK for decades, so I had never seen an individual/line item bill. But since I have used them previously they had ALL my information. Seemed natural just to use them again. Last year was my first time where it was only my personal individual taxes (single mom, 1 child, 1 home, 1 source of income, that's literally everything. No assistance, no investments, no losses/gains). $1200! And the bill had no explanation/break down. After multiple emails, I found out it took multiple people, an average $250/hr to complete.

If I could rate these clowns zero stars I would. Told us from the beginning if I dont respond within one day something is wrong. Well I cant tell you how many times it took them a week or two weeks to get back to us. I had to even reach out the owner of the company at one point. Then as tax season rolls around, get an email hey were focusing on our most valuable customers so we cant do your tax return. This place is a joke.
