I'm a little confounded by my results, however, I still find the Kolbe A Index useful, especially after reading about it in Robert Kiyosaki's book, Rich Kid Smart Kid: Giving Your Child a Financial Head Start (2001).  He talks about how the results of this profile gave him insight on how his "conative strengths" (or "modus operandi"), which is what the index measures, helped him helped him make sense of his trying experiences with school as a kid, later going on the becoming successful in business.  (Success, according to Kolbe, is the freedom to be yourself).  If you have a child, who has been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD, and you're just not convinced that's the full picture, you might check-out the youth version of this index, which is designed to point out these tendencies early so they can be seen for what they are -- strengths, rather than something to be curbed or medicated.  The adult version is 36 questions, and you get your results and interpretation online within minutes.  The kid's version, Kolbe Y, appears to be the same in these two ways, except it costs less -- just $15!  (With Parent Guide, it's $45).
