Amara Apartments

Please I beg everyone thinking of renting here DON'T RENT HERE. Management is horrible, they don't answer calls. They take so long to process application and wasting your time. This apartment is very old, full of mold and cockroaches. If you don't listen to me you will regret. What can you expected from 2.7 rated apartment?? Front office employee are a**H****. Don't waste your time, there are much affordable and clean apartments down here in Phoenix. Period

Bad for Business Im looking to move and wanted to check out this model at this location. I get all the way to the leasing office and the sign on the door say Open but guess what nobody is inside to answer the door. I waited for 15 min still nobody, mind you Im here way before closing time.., smh

I was supposed to move in March 2nd but I am now being told I cant move in until the full move in cost is covered. Here is the thing, I am working with Community Bridges Inc. to cover move in cost. They requested the complexs W-9 on February 9th. I also sent an email to the leasing office informing them that my case manager needed the complexs W9 on the same day. No W9 was sent until yesterday after I had to ask a completely different leasing agent. The check request has been put in now that the proper documentation has been acquired but it wont arrive until after my scheduled move in date. Because of Biancas screw up, I am not being allowed to move as scheduled. Its not like it wasnt explained to Bianca that it takes two weeks for the check to arrive. If she had just sent the W9 to my case manager on the 9th the check wouldve arrive before my scheduled move in date. They dont care that I will essentially be homeless and there was no urgency to try and find a solution or come to an agreement. For that this complex gets one star.

Lived here for two years, just don't waste your time. All in all I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Being on hold for over 30 mins for a simple update on where my deposit is gave me enough time to call corporate, speak to someone and was able to get a message to accounts payable. They suck and I am so thrilled to have moved away from this miserable complex. Update: if you ever need to get a hold of the office they do not answer, I was physically in the office and called while there and its on silent. Been on hold for over 30 mins with no response. No one replies to emails sent and no one will return your call after you leave a message. I have lived here for over a year and here is my rant: in the beginning there were a log of roaches and the bug sprayer never came but he eventually did, they claimed to come every Monday but I was home and they only come when you ask them to. The floors are uneven and poorly renovated, some places its like you might poke a hole through the vinyl. I have had my door lock fixed which he to be fixed up twice. Multiple times less then 24 hour notice was given that the air, electric or water would be out. AC and heat are VERY loud. Its dog friendly if you have a dog and you dont want to pick up after it
