Four stars mainly because the office is a challenge to find occasionally. Maybe its just cause my eyes are so bad . Office seems clean and staff are attentive and friendly when youre there in person! I have noticed it takes awhile to get a call back some times.

Husband was seen by him. He prescribed antibiotics for his eye. Never sent in medicine to the pharmacy!! Tried several times to get in touch with office. NO RESPONSE. Called the optometrist who referred him! Told her what was going on, she should never refer these people out. Going to call teladoc!! They are the best to call when you! At least they are there for you! Zero stars !

Doctor Gross is pretty straight and to the point. Staff doesn't acknowledge the patient. Assistants ran test without explaining what was going on. Had to remind staff to explain to the patient what they were there to do. Front desk staff are also very rude. Which makes me feel bad for patients and family members to be belittled and spoken to with such a tone. The first time we were there, multiple patients in the waiting room were displeased at how the front desk interacts with you.

My retinal specialist, whom I trust implicitly, recommended Dr. Robert Gross for my corneal work and cataract surgery. Some reviews, however, suggested Dr. Gross's bedside manner was less than stellar. Maybe I'm in a minority but I was shopping for a skilled surgeon, not someone to hold my hand or feed my ego. I wanted someone with excellent blade-work and proven skills in making correction to corneas butchered decades ago in 5 previous, RK surgeries. So I came to his office with my questions in hand. Dr. Gross came across as exceedingly busy, professional, and confident in his own abilities - almost to the point of arrogance :). Clearly, he believed in himself and I rather liked that. I think he appreciated that I had no desire to waste his time, not when so many others were seated in the lobby waiting to see him. He quickly and succinctly answered my questions, assured me that he could resolve the challenges posed by all of my scar tissue, and could restore my sight so that I could drive legally again. My results were even better than he predicted. It's been nearly a year since my procedures and I still thank God, almost every day, because I once was almost blind, but now I see. It sounds dramatic but, for me, Dr. Gross was God's instrument for restoring my sight. I asked God to provide a surgeon and didn't request a hand-holder or medical buddy. God gave me - exactly what I needed.
