Zane Grey Country BBQ

Stayed at Kohls Ranch lodge (wonderful place) and made the unfortunate mistake of deciding to eat here one night. The watery garbage disposal noodles they so graciously call "mac and cheese" was 12 dollars for what was about a 4 oz portion. The ribs were 36 dollars and were cold, dry, and stringy. The barbecue sauce tasted nothing like barbecue sauce, it tasted closer like something akin to A1 steak sauce and a mystery liquid you find in your uncles liquor cabinet. The only good part about the food were the beans provided with the ribs and again it was only about 4 ounces.

I just finished eating dinner here.. I had the Andouille platter which included two sausages, fries, biscuit, beans. The ketchup was two different colors and had a mystery chunk in it. I felt like it had been sitting in the little cup for a long time. The fries were Luke warm. The beans were just plain did not taste good. The sausage was OK, but literally just OK, edible. It did not particularly taste like Andouille. The biscuit was rubbery. I felt like all the food I received was made well in advance and that my fries were made well before I ordered my food. I stand by everything stated above as accurate and true.

We had a great time. We had the three cheese pizza and wings they were amazing!
