        I had a GREAT time fishing on Lake Powell with Paul as my guide. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. We caught more fish than I thought possible and Paul made it look easy. Last time I fished here with a guide I got Skunked. So you can imagine my surprise. All in all a fantastic day.

        Our son Itamar had his 13 bar mitzva birthday and he asked us to go fishing in lake Powell, Paul is an amazing person with vast knowledge in lake Powell, he actually live there... You can see he really loves what he is doing and it affect the whole day with amazing vibes. A say that we will never forget.

        He completely canceled on us the morning of. Told us the fishing was not good. Every other person we talked to said the fishing was great. I feel like he just didnt want to bother with us. He gives Page a bad name.

        This was our second time out with Paul. Both times were excellent. Paul is very knowledgeable and personable and makes a great guide. We caught a ton of fish and my son and I both really enjoyed our time out on the lake with Paul. We will be back for sure.

      McNabb Fishing Guide Service

      We have lived in Page and fished Lake Powell for 40 years! I started my fishing guide business in 2005. I retired from teaching in 2002 but returned to Page High School to teach Driver Education part-time (every other day), for the next six years. During my teaching career I have taught every grade level as a Physical Education teacher and 6th and 7th grade math and science. While teaching at Page High School for 26 years I coached Track and Field for 20 years, Football for 5, Basketball 5 and Baseball 2. I was involved in Boy Scouts for 6 years as an Advancement Chairman and Scoutmaster. Growing up I earned my Eagle Scout award and I wanted my sons and others to experience the good times scouting has to offer. Both of my sons earned their Eagle Scout award and have lots of great memories. I also coached Little League for 3 years and served the city of Page as a volunteer Fireman for 6 years and an EMT for 2 years.

      Hi Gina, I am sorry that you are upset with me. I talked to your husband and told him the fishing was not good when he asked how it was going. The week before we were catching 20-25 fish and doing great, the weather was nice, hardly any wind. The people you talked to probably went out the week before, as I did, and caught lots of fish. The week you were supposed to go out the wind blow 20 to 30 mph. We went out one morning and were back by 11 am. We caught one fish. I thought that your husband and I came to an agreement to not go out because we probably wouldn't catch many fish, if any. I feel bad that you didn't get to experience a fishing trip on beautiful Lake Powell. I and my son are the best guides on the lake and have been for 19 years. I am sorry you feel I give Page a bad name. It was not that I just didn't want to bother with you, I was just trying to be honest with you about how the fishing was going. I didn't want you to spend all that money and not catch but a few fish. Your husband even agreed to that also. If you ever get back to Lake Powell call me and I will give you a free half day fishing trip. Take care, Mike
