I went in to this place with high hopes, and expectations due to the reviews. At first, everything went good the front desk was friendly, and welcoming, but when it came to my actual appointment my whole perspective changed. I was placed in a room with a nurse, and she told me that I would be completing a wellness exam. I went in there to try to get answers on my recurrent abdominal pain. Anyways, I did what the nurse told me, and got ready to get my wellness exam, which also meant that I would be getting a pap smear. Everything was fine until it was time to start my Pap smear, the nurse handed the doctor the tool, and they both look at each other stared at my v*****,and started laughing, I was wondering if my v***** had told them a joke or something. That was disturbing to me. I didnt say anything, because I was already uncomfortable and wanted the test to be completed. It gets worse, the doctor then asked about birth control, I said I didnt want any. The nurse, and doctor named Thomas laughed , and he asked again, Well you are having sex with males right ? No means no. As a doctor, he is well informed about all the side effects of birth control, I dont want them, and he kept trying to push it on me. I also have a genetic condition that worsens when hormone levels change especially sensitive to estrogen hormone levels. ( I have also had bad experiences with birth control in the past .) The cherry on top of all this, was that I reached out to doctor Thomas, and let him know about his horrible bedside manner, respectfully. You know what he did ? He discharged not just as his patient( which I didnt mind) , but from the whole office, meaning my ultrasound appointment was cancelled. The ultrasound appointment to find out about possible cysts overgrowth, or fibroids. This ultrasound would have gave me the answers, I was seeking to help relieve my abdominal pain. What happened to the Hippocrates ( Physicians) oath taken by this doctor ?? There are other doctors I could have seen besides him, but instead I was discharged for speaking my mind. I dont regret it, and hopes he learns something from my feedback. Would not recommend Dr. Thomas for making my appointment feel like an ongoing joke between him , and the nurse , or this place for allowing him to discharge me as a patient for advocating for myself. Highly disappointed. ( Date of visit 3/14/2024)

Was informed by billing that "It's within the doctor's right to bill you for 2 visits" if you ask a question during a wellcheck appointment.

It pains me to write this because I love the NP but the billing department cant get it together. I got sent to collections over a Pap smear that should have been free and I called about several times and was told was taken care of!! I called and went in person to make sure. Ruined my credit and now I have to go through the process of disputing. So devastating and unfair when all I did was go in for preventative care and now my credit is destroyed.

Mikayla was a great nurse practitioner and made me feel really comfortable. However, the front office and billing department need improvement. After I got blood work done a week had went by so I called the test center myself where they told me they had never received my insurance from the gynecology office, so I had to provide it to them myself. I paid my copay before I went to my annual through my check in (not knowing I wasnt supposed to) so once I got there I asked if it was covered. I was told Id be billed my full copay for my annual if we discussed my IUD. every other gynecologist I have went to had checked my strings at an annual with no extra charge and I was also told before I came here that it was typical to check an iud at an annual (which it is). Its very disorganized and I get different information from every person I speak to on the phone when I call.
