Mr. Jose first of thank you for letting us know your concern about the product that you purchased on 10/14/2022. I can see how you thought your kit came with control arms its a bit miss leading because they are asking you if your truck has factory aluminum or stamped steel control arms do to the size ball joint that GMC use's in there pickup trucks in those years. On McGauphys website they give a detail description of what your lowering kit includes, I am going to copy it and paste here for you. "Kit Includes: (2) Drop Spindles, (2) Adjustable Front Struts, (2) Flip Kit Axle Saddles, (2) Flip Kit U-Bolt Plates, (2) Flip Kit Leaf/U-Bolt Retainer Plates, (2) Rear Lift Hangers, (2) Bump Stops, (2) Rear Shocks, (2) Rear Shock Extenders, & Hardware (2) Rear Frame C-Notch Plates/Brackets, (2) Large Reinforcement Plates, (4) Small Reinforcement Plates, (2) Bump Stops, & all Hardware". No where in there does it say that there are new control arms or that they are required. On our invoice and yours I verified, we recommended that you bring your truck back periodically for inspection on not just the lowering kit but the factory parts as well. We installed your kit with a truck that had 85,106 miles on it with all factory original parts that unfortunately do not last for ever and need to be inspected, if you were to have brought your truck back here or called us I am positive that we would have caught the falling control arm and stopped the tire wear, but to blame us for parts wearing out on your truck when the last time we saw your truck was almost a year ago is a little odd. We stand behind our work and would be more than happy to make sure your truck is operating as intended and the lowering kit is functioning properly.
