Power and Ray - Goodwill - Retail Store and Donation Center

They don't have try on rooms but we were told they had a 7 day return policy, I asked questions like Is that for every department? And does it count even on things that are for sale and they said yes, no problem is easy just buy everything you want to try on and take it home to do it and bring back what doesn't fit. They seemed very friendly. I even talked about the fact that 7 days wouldn't be a problem because I'm only going to be here for 4 more. Because I live in Kansas Then we talked about living in kansas a bit. Then, the next day, when I try to return it, they won't put the money back on my credit card they only do a gift card to their goodwill. I'm so upset, so now instead of doing a quick return and going to spend the day with my daughter as I planned we are needing to spend $77 on stuff from good will that we dont need when we really need that money to be put toward food and gas, talk about stealing money from the poor not helping end poverty as their mission states.

I live close by and been here multiple times and every time I come, the employees are very rude. I understand its goodwill but man, while I was walking around shopping, the lady restocking kept bumping into my bag multiple times. I normally dont mind as I understand work sucks and they just wanna get out of there but you still work in a customer service environment. I decided to check out and the cashier was very dozed out. Im not sure if she was super tired or intoxicated. She didnt greet me, I had to make eye contact multiple times and start unhanging my own items. Once I paid, I had to ask if she could give me my receipt as she forgot and then forgot to bag my items. I get it if it was one or two items, dont bag them. If you would like to be bumped multiple times by staff and have a slow experience at check out, come to this goodwill.
