TMC Custom Pools & Renovations

We will start off and say the final product looks good. This was a major facelift for our 30+ year old pool and we wanted to support a local, family-owned business. However, getting there was a nightmare. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating and could have been resolved by keeping us in the information and scheduling loop. Calls and texts went unanswered for days, crews would either not show up at all, show up hours late or show up unannounced. A project that should have taken six weeks (by their estimate) took almost 19 weeks. This worked out to be a $30k+ project and for that amount of money, we expected more responsiveness and attention to detail. Attention to detail and scheduling issues could have been resolved with an actual onsite supervisor. While texting pictures of the various stages of the project saves some time and miles for the company, it does nothing to promote communication with the client OR quality control issues. Ensuring the job is done right the first time will ultimately save more time and money by allowing the crew to move from project to project based on completion without call backs for touch ups. It should be noted that we had two other companies engaged during this time with other home projects. Both had on-site supervisors that inspected each phase of work as it was completed, so it is possible. All things considered, we would not use TMC again.

We had a wonderful experience with TMC Custom Pools. They were thoughtful and very educational with helping us pick out our design. They did a wonderful job coordinating with our landscape contractor and everything went smooth. We had our pool installed much faster than friends who were building pools around the same time. We recently hired TMC Customer Pools & Renovations to remodel our 20-year-old swimming pool, and we are thrilled with the results. After getting 4 different bids all within the same price point, we selected TMC as they took the time to meet with us to answer all of our questions during the initial consultation to providing valuable suggestions when selecting our options. The remodel process was smooth and efficient, with the team at TMC completing the project on time and with minimal disruption to our daily routine. We have two large dogs and requested advanced notification which occurred throughout the entire project. The remodel was extensive with new tile, pebble finish, pool pump, deck and relocation of our electrical junction box for our pool light and their work was outstanding. We highly recommend TMC to anyone looking to renovate their swimming pool. Their expertise, professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction is impressive and we would choose them again in a heartbeat.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with TMC Custom Pools. Mike, Nolan and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, including planning, design, scheduling, construction and warranty. They are extremely personable, conscientious, hard-working, honest and fair, and they delivered an absolutely amazing product. I am so lucky we found them amid the myriad of other pool builders that deliver 5-star service through the design/contract stage, only to flake out and pass you off to someone else for the real stages that matter down the line. Mike stays with you every single step of the way, and it's very reassuring to know you always have someone dedicated to your specific project that you can reach out to to ask questions, raise concerns, etc. This is the true definition of a family business - they say what they mean and they do what they say. I've recommended TMC to a number of different friends and colleagues, all of which have been extremely happy with their results.
