Valerie Joy Photos

Valerie is an amazing photographer! We scheduled a large multi-generational family shoot with her and had so many elements she had to consider in her work - grandparents, kids of all ages, too many chiefs giving input on the poses, and a surprise dog invited to the shoot. She did wonderfully and worked with all of it with grace, poise, and the utmost professionalism. Well definitely be calling her for family pictures again.

We are so happy with our photo shoot with Valerie Joy Photos. Valerie was dealt a difficult job with a multi generational photo shoot that ended up with only one day to do it with out of town guests, and an unusual winter storm in AZ with up to 70 mile an hour winds. She pivited like a pro in handling each situation. I love her eye for details!! I'm always the one who catches "something" off in photos, but she saw details we didn't, she communicated how and what to do perfectly to all ages, and being a ball of joyful energy, she made it encouraging and fun through the entire photo shoot. I highly recommend her work!

Valerie was amazing to work with! She helped me pick a location for my surprise proposal, communicated with me for almost three weeks to plan it , then put on some awesome acting skills to keep the surprise. She was extremely affirming during the shoot and it was so comfortable and effortless. I wish it was caught on video but the pictures she captured were phenomenal so I can't complain at all. Website said the turnaround for edited gallery was two weeks and we got them back the next day. Would highly recommend to others and definitely would work with them again given the chance

Valerie did excellent!!! Despite the rain, she found the way to capture every image and every detail in our favor at my daughter Verannia's 15th birthday party and of course also in the photo session... I love her energy, her communication, her professionalism and she has a great personality that makes you feel confident immediately. 100% recommended.

Valerie was awesome to work with! She was super kind from her first response to my inquiry, and she remained incredibly communicative from booking to taking photos to selecting images. Valerie had great ideas for locations, looks, and poses with my fur babies. As Valerie said, she embraced the chaos of working with pups that had different ideas than what we were hoping for, but she worked her magic with my boys and captured some awesome photos! Valeries energy is super positive, she is incredibly inclusive, and shes truly a joy to work with! Our time working together was short, but it was clear that I met an amazing, good-hearted person who cares about her clients and work. I will definitely call Valerie again for my next photo needs!
