Center for Discovery - Mesa

My daughter was a patient there almost a year ago. They were absolutely phenomenal in the way they treated her and how they were able to handle the family dynamic. I would recommend this place for anybody who is looking for treatment for their kid. I am grateful for the help they provided for the entire family!

i was a patient at cfd from july 2022-september 2022. this was my first facility ive ever gone to, and before i went i made the mistake of reading the reviews which were very misleading. i understand that everybodys experience is different, however a lot of the people who are talking badly about cfd mustve went into it with the wrong mindset. cfd was the best decision in my recovery i ever made. the staff was supportive and involved, and the other patients were so accepting of every person who walked through the door without judgement. the nurses were amazing. there were a few issues with short staffing, but considering we had a pandemic recently that was beyond their control. i would like to say a special thank you to nurse cassie, who i first met while intake. though nurses only work three days a week, cassie was able to manage to form a bond with me in the short amount of time given. i know her to be one of the most influential people in my life. she helped me navigate through my toughest days and it was definitely a hard goodbye. love u forever cass

worst treatment center ive been to. they tore apart our rooms looking for a label maker no one had. it felt like the only people who really cared was the support staff and cherry. i will say it opened a month before i got there, but having a therapist who never worked with eds before?? i had no erps with my dietician one on one. i continuously requested them but she pushed it off. i was not prepared for the real world at all. theres so much more that my fellow milieu and i went through, which i wont get into. they accused me of trying to awol, and i honestly should have. shout-outs go to kelley, madison, emily, jen, meghan, and dr. bochtler, thank you guys for actually supporting me. i forgot to add the fact that a counselor accused me of having a bladder infection and refused to take us to the bathroom.
