Jim was absolutely incredible to work with. I originally had a patio from the mid 80's that was very low and "dingy". I reached out to Jim for a quote and Jim came by to check out the project a day or two later.
Jim took care of the HOA paperwork, City permits and all of that fun stuff. Jim has competitive pricing but what really stood out was how customizable Jim was comparted to everyone else. (gluelam vs rough sawn, exposed vs drywalled, beam size, stud size, header size, color, electrical, and many more I am sure).
Once the permit went through, the process was very quick for a project as large as mine. From tear down to hanging the last fan, it was quicker than i thought. One thing that stood out to me was during a phone call with one of the electrical team members, (we were deciding where to run the electrical), Jim asked "would it look good". That was very appreciative since I have had probably 10+ contractors work on the house during the remodel and Jim was the only one who didnt "cut corners" and truly cared about the finished product.
I'd recommend Jim to absolutely everyone. I only wish i had another house (that needed a patio cover). Service: Remodelling

Jim Stafford and his crew demolished my 2-story deck and rebuilt it with new footings, metal railing, and waterproofed upper deck surface. This project was way to large for a DIY project, and Jim handled it professionally with architectural drawings, a City building permit, and a well planned execution. The project also included repainting of the deck surface, including the cool deck around the pool, and repainting the entire house. While no one likes to live in a construction zone, Jim and his crew maintained a clean and orderly work site, and the project finished on-time (even with several major rainstorms during the Monsoon Season). I would recommend Stafford Home & Patio for any deck or gazebo project. Service: Remodelling

Jim Stafford is great to work with! He took care of County Permits and HOA application. He helped come up with our design and structural construction materials. Scope of work was to remove existing patio roof, and build new patio cover (larger and taller). Estimated six weeks, but project was done in four weeks. Crew was on site daily. Good communication. We are very pleased with the entire process.
We highly recommend Stafford Home and Patio for your projects.
Note: I am a retired builder/Project Manager, and I have high expectations for Contractors. Jim Stafford full filled my expectations. Service: Remodelling
