My oldest has gone to Harris for the past 7 years (with the exception of 1 year we moved away and came back) He is about to finish up 6th grade and I can say I have seen the best and the worst of Harris. His first few years were amazing there! They had a lot of wonderful, caring teachers. The principal was outstanding and we were very happy. Since that initial principal has left, Harris has gone through 2 other principals (they are about to get yet another one) and the school has completely gone down the drain in my opinion. Most of the amazing teachers that I loved have left (there are still a few remaining that are great) I have no doubt it is because of the horrible principals that have come through this school. There are so many instances of bad things that have happened I cannot name them all, but the biggest one has to be this year my daughter was being bullied at school. I was never informed by the school about what was going on, (only by my daughter) even though the boy bullying her had been suspended for his actions towards my daughter for a couple days and when I tried to schedule a meeting with the principal I was pushed back for 2 weeks!!! Then the secretary called and tried to reschedule that meeting because of a conflict! Needless to say I never got to sit in front of the principal and the bullying is still happening! The teacher says that it's happening on the playground and only the aid is witnessing it so there is nothing he can do. I'm so glad my oldest is moving on to junior high next year and I am already looking around for an alternative school for my younger two. Stay FAR away from this school!! Academically this school isn't even up to par. It used to be an A rated school now I believe it's a C rated school. They don't invest in their students or community. There is serious lack of communication from the school unless it's for a fundraiser.

Horrible experience here!!! If I could rate this school a zero I would!
