Are used to go here and I hated it I was treated very badly because of my skin color it upsets me that other kids have to go through this no kids should be treated like they shouldnt belong here because of their skin color.

We are so grateful to have found ALA! We probably would have never found what a great school this is if the pandemic didn't occur. ALA helped the kids during a really hard year and my kids excelled! Thank you ALA for making it a great year for us. We have now found a school that has great standards and really cares for our kids!

As my son has been going to ala he was in 4th grade math when he was a 5th grade do to IEP learning which he definitely did not need he is a 7th graders now and struggling to succeed in his work i highly suggest finding a new school

I went there for 6 years and I still wish I did not have to move but it's a great school and all the teacher were super friendly .

If you expect nothing more than for your administration to be the caddy, gossip ridden see you next thursdays then you are in the right place. As with any substandard public school, your childs education is only a direct reflection of the state mandated tests in an effort to compete for funding. Your childs nutrition is put on the backburner with a total of about 15 minutes to eat every day. Special needs are just a number. Job descriptions are complete nonsense and the leadersip...you guessed it...straight outta california. After witnessing the bull first-hand on both the employment and student end of the spectrum, it will be a cold day in hell before I'd recommend this hypocritical institution to anyone that has an ounce of care about their children.
