    Dr. Brent Sloten and staff were without a doubt the best I have seen in a lifetime of dermatology visits across the valley. Staff was polite and fun, the office was great and Dr Brent was super personable and easy going. Classic rock n roll music in the waiting area and I was not there long at all since they don't overbook. My skin check was thorough and he answered all my concerns. I will be back.

    Poorly run office and Doctor doesn't seem to care which was very concerning to me. Plenty of great Derms out there that have a well run office, because they care about their patients experience.

    The staff was extremely rude when I called to understand what services I had been billed for...the receptionist and their billing contact were very unprofessional and demonstrated no empathy or compassion. I have been quarantined in a house for 9 days now, due to a positive covid family member, and this is the service I receive just to get clarification on my bill. Who would have known it would cost $250 (when all bills are paid) and very unpleasant conversations with this staff, who lack customer service skills and common courtesy, just to find out you dont have skin cancer. Here are just some of responses I received today: Are you done? (The response I received after I asked the gal to stop interrupting me) You are being nasty to me maam (receptionists response to me after I called back to file a complaint that she advised she would relay, and then as I shared my experience, she interjected her 2 cents to justify the previous gals handling of my situation. I was justifiably upset and this was her response) I have several family members (different last names) and friends that are patients here and word of mouth goes a long way, especially these days. Its unfortunate that customer service is nonexistent here and because of that, this practice will be losing several patients.

    My first appointment a lady was standing at the front desk complaining that they had sent her a bill 15 months after an appointment and she had all of the documentation to prove she had indeed paid all of her bill. I thought wow, that lady is having a bad day. Turns out that is exactly what they did to me too! This must be a common practice for them to not bill on time. During a procedure where the Dr. was cutting on my NECK, I was feeling anxious and his assistant rambled on and on about another patient being "bi polar and excessive about being cut on". It was so far out of line. I can't imagine that anyone is thrilled about being sliced. It was really awful to hear this supposed professional discuss OTHER patients while in the middle of someone's procedure. This is the least professional medical practice that I have ever encountered. Their billing department is completely inept. I don't even know how they stay in business.
